Promotional products distributor AD Merchandise are revelling in a monumental achievement this summer after lifting two trophies at the esteemed Advantage Group awards ceremony.
The Manchester-based organisation have only been a member of the Advantage Group since March 2017 but shook off competition from major industry players to become the first company to win in two separate categories: Group Member of the Year and Best Use of Advantage Website. Advantage Group’s Member of the Year award is chosen by a 77-member supply chain following a carefully-crafted criteria – and triumphing in this category reflects AD Merchandise’s excellent reputation amongst suppliers as well as clients.
“We’re honoured to be the first ever company to win in two categories – and this was a real team effort from start to finish. Everyone at AD should be proud of this win. Without our magnificent staff and supply chain, we wouldn’t be where we are today.” Amo Singh – Managing Director
Amo was also quick to pay testament to the whole team at AD Merchandise, stating: “We’ve enjoyed some terrific support, that’s how we’ve made this happen.
“We’re lucky to have such a great group of people working with us. It’s been an invigorating few months for the company, and the future looks very exciting.”
AD Merchandise Designer, Steve Harrington, who designed the website and brochure, was recognised with the Best Use of Advantage Website award, together with the marketing and design guidance of Amo.
“Being acknowledged with the website award is a wonderful feeling. We’re taking big steps to put greater emphasis on the online side of things now, and we’re going to be constantly developing our blog section and social media moving forwards.” Steve Harrington – Designer
The pedigree of The Advantage Group – who are widely regarded as the best catalogue collectives in the country and have been hosting these awards for 18 years – puts the scale of the achievement into perspective.
Advantage Group Director, Lawrence Angelow, concurred that AD Merchandise’s two-trophy haul was a considerable achievement for the distributor.
“The double award win is even more impressive when you consider that AD Merchandise are a relative newcomer. They’ve got clear application, vision and focus, and a very strong idea of who they want to be and what they are aiming for. Lots of people have really bought into what they’re doing and they’ve made a real impact in such a short space of time.” Lawrence Angelow – Advantage Group Director
AD Merchandise continue to hold strong relationships with clients, suppliers, distributors and competitors all over the country, and are undoubtedly the brand to watch out for in the merchandise industry.
Defying their small status, the business continues to punch above their weight, with plans for expansion and growth over the coming months.
